A strategic look at sales: APG welcomes its new Sales Director

Thanks to ongoing investments aimed at expanding and diversifying its customer base, Albertini Packaging is strengthening its management structure with the addition of a new Sales Director.

Luca Merlini will play a central role in business development, consolidating APG’s presence in current markets and managing relationships with long-standing customers, working alongside those with whom the company has established new partnerships in recent months.

The new Sales Director takes the helm of the commercial division after a long career in the world of primary and secondary packaging, which has allowed him to gain in-depth knowledge of the industry’s dynamics, processes, and methods. Luca Merlini, in fact, served as Sales Director for twenty years in multinational packaging companies, developing a comprehensive and hands-on understanding of how they operate.

He is a strong and capable figure, able to identify new opportunities and strengthen the company’s strategic positioning, especially in the luxury packaging segment. He now leads commercial operations with method, expertise, and alignment with APG’s objectives.

For Albertini Packaging, this marks another important step in reaffirming its commitment to building a shared, concrete, and forward-thinking direction — one in which product excellence goes hand in hand with a solid, responsive, and future-oriented commercial strategy.
