APG Balkan Invests in New Technologies for Premium Packaging

APG Balkan continues to grow, investing in new technology to make production more efficient, versatile, and in line with market demands. The introduction of cutting-edge machinery speeds up processes, improves quality control, and enhances the ability to handle larger volumes and more complex manufacturing.

Accelerated and Optimized Production

Three new wrapping machines -added to the two already in place- mark a significant step forward for APG Balkan, as they allow multiple parts of the same box to be produced simultaneously, significantly reducing packaging times. An improved component transport system, achieved through conveyor belts, directs materials straight to the subsequent stages of inspection, assembly, and packaging, ensuring a smoother and more efficient production flow.

Efficiency and Customization

APG Balkan’s focus on innovation and customization is reflected in the continuous evolution of its production solutions. The introduction of an automatic creasing machine, now capable of handling a large number of components in a single shift, enhances production capabilities. For more intricate projects, the manual creasing machine remains in operation, allowing for precise and highly customized work.

The company’s investments enable it to meet diverse design needs in packaging with precision. Depending on the project, production at the Serbian facility is divided between creasing (50-60%) and half-cutting (40-50%), allowing for a wide range of processes tailored to each specific request. Furthermore, with the addition of a second die-cutting machine, packaging customization reaches new levels. This machine also enables hot stamping on paper or laminated cardboard, providing clients with fresh creative possibilities to enhance their brand identity.

„Thanks to our recent investments, APG Balkan has further improved the efficiency and versatility of its production. The technological advancements in our facility allow us to respond more precisely to the dynamic luxury market. – says Massimo Maniero, CEO of APG BalkanOur priority remains customization, which, with the support of innovative machinery, enables us to offer our clients top-quality packaging with impeccable finishes, produced in shorter timeframes. These investments strengthen our production capacity and reinforce our commitment to staying ahead in the premium sector, transforming packaging into a powerful tool for value and brand recognition.“
